Answer: I understand your frustration, I just learned about this case this morning myself. It does make you question the justice system in this country and Zimmerman's motive. Would Zimmerman had followed Trayvon if he were white? Why didn't Zimmerman wait until the police arrived like he was told when he called 911? Why did Zimmerman confront Trayvon? As a grown man confronting a teen why wasn't he able to control the situation so it didn't become physical? Why didn't Zimmerman just take the butt whoopin Trayvon gave him like a man and everyone could have gone home in one piece? If Trayvon had wrestled the gun away from Zimmerman and shot him, would Trayvon still be walking free pending an investigation? Rumor is there were 6 calls to 911 about the altercation so hopefully someone witnessed the whole thing and will come forward with what they saw. As for now we must remain calm and patient and hope that in the end justice will be served.

First, let me begin by saying the killing of Trayvon martin in Florida literally brings tears to my eyes. I have known far too many youth killed, including killed by police for absolutely no good reason. However, I looked up the picture of the idiot George Zimmerman and he doesnt appear White to me. I think he looks more Hispanic, perhaps a German American father and a Puerto Rican mother? (Just giving an example). Its possible he is 100% White, but he doesnt look it to me. No, Im not in a state of denial. I know all too well racism exists, but he just doesnt look White to me. My next question is, was Trayvons race/skin color the only factor? Zimmerman harassed other community members who were White. Clearly, Zimmerman is mentally ill. Would Zimmerman have harassed a White teenager dressed in urban clothing? Can you support the elimination of racism in Sanford, Florida?

With the racially motivated hate crime murder of Trayvon martin in Sanford, a one-man lynching, there need to be some changes made in the Sanford community. Since it is no secret that there are racial tensions in the community that are being acerbated by perpetuating by racism, the following changes need to be made: 1.Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee must be forced to step down from his office and be replaced with a police chief committed to racial fairness. 2.The Sanford Police department needs to be reviewed for prior racial crimes against, harassment of, and suppression in the black community. 3.George Zimmerman needs to be arrested and charged with the crime of first degree murder. 4.Highway 46, west of French Street, and 1st street to the east of French Street need to be renamed Martin Luther King Jr. Street to remind the Sanford community that the blacks are an essential part of its community and need their civil rights protected. 5.A department needs to be created to act as a racial ombudsman for the community of Sanford and it wouldn’t be a bad idea to do that for the entire Seminole County. I am a long time resident of Seminole County. Sanford is the county seat for the county. Joe, I am not Jewish but of almost entirely Scottish ancestry. How would I know, there is no indication Zimmerman is a registered Democrat and he is probably not. About 50% of the county voters are registered Republicans. Only 25% are registered Democrats and 25% are independents. Pretending Zimmerman is a Democrat is a dishonest attempt to shift blame onto the victims in this case. Death by, you dont eliminate racism by creating more racism. Your suggestion is vapid. Please try harder at being a caring person. just thinking, putting the blame on people who are not white seems to ignore the problem that the main source of racism in America is with ignorant whites. I think it makes more sense to educate whites that they have a responsibility to avoid racism as it is deadly, as this case of Trayvons murder shows.

Im trying to understand this dick from the Trayvon martin case. George Zimmerman volunteered to be a part of the neighborhood watch patrol in a city in Florida, and one night, 17-year old (black male) Trayvon, went to 7-11 to get some candy or something for him and his younger brother. On his way back, Zimmerman saw him, called the police telling them he sees a suspicious young black male. After calling police, Zimmerman took it upon himself to shoot this unarmed kid twice, killing him. Theres 911 call from a neighbor, saying she hears yelling. Its been released and you can hear this kid screaming in pain (probably after the first shot) then you hear another shot, then silence. It is heartbreaking. So my question is.. does this guy even have permission to carry a gun and shoot people?????

why has this clear-cut racially motivated murder,been turned over to the states attorney? why wont the sanford police arrest george? some people have said things like," well that kid shouldnt have been wearing a hoodie..." im sorry but thats stupid. first of all,i read that it had been raining prior to the incident. so wearing a hoodie makes sense to me. umbrellas are useless,and hoods keep you drier. now,id also like to illustrate something here. for those of you who say,"well he should not have been wearing what he was wearing.."; pardon my french,but youre idiots. thats exactly what thugs and gang bangers say in open court whenever they try to justify and rationalize their horrible crimes. they always say BS like, "well that N-word should not have been wearing purple,or red or blue in MY neighborhood..." f*ck that! so what,wearing hoodies in florida is grounds for getting shot on site? to all the nay-sayers,yes__yes this was racially motivated! and the police are being racially biased. had this sh*t happened over here in California,zimmerman would be awaiting trial for 1st or 2nd degree murder. how this thug (zimmerman) was appointed "Captain" of the neighborhood watch,is in itself an enigma. why would anybody be ok with this a**hole ,who clearly has serious issues,being "Captain" of the neighborhood watch? and whats even more perplexing is how "UNafraid" everyone seems to be about this. i mean,seriously-you guys have a loose cannon,with zero remorse for killing an unarmed teen,roaming your streets,and youre ok with this? i suppose they figure, "well i guess he wont shoot us,because were all white..." i think chris rock said it best; "its alright,cuz its all white ! george belongs in prison. he was told not to exit his vehicle by the dispatcher. he was not in any imminent danger. he did not have a reason to fear for his life. Trayvon was not threatening his safety. Trayvon did not forcibly attempt to car-jack zimmerman. Trayvon was unarmed. none of these constitute the use of deadly force in florida. claiming self defense here is erroneous. zimmerman got out of his car ,after stalking Trayvon,and confronted him, which of course led to an altercation,resulting in Trayvon being fatally shot by zimmerman. zimmerman had no legal recourse from any legal stand point,to use deadly force. how the hell is this not murder? please,can somebody with experience in this arena ,shed some light on this subject-please. i want intelligent,non-racist responses. please use empiracal data/evidence [if available]; to back up your response .

As you might have heard Trayvon martin, a 140lb 14 yearold black male was shot while returning home to his fathers home with some Arizona ice tea and skittles (read: unarmed). He was shot by George Zimmerman (read: Admitted to shooting him) a 28 year-old white man who was patrolling the neighborhood (read: neighborhood watch). But remember. I dont "care" that the shoot was racist, I care that the system is racist. The question is WHY HAVENT THE POLICE ARRESTED ZIMMERMAN? And of course, the follow up would be, If black man with a history of violence had shot an armed white or asian kid returning home with candy, would the police let that shooter walk free? @thegubmint Okay, but the issue isnt "white shoots black guy", its that the police department is protecting a cold blooded killer with a history or violence. Black on white (or white on black) crime isnt a sign of systemic racism, those are just outlyiers.
Answer: Yep, that happen in my county, Seminole County, Florida. Obviously it is a modern day one person lynching. Zimmerman is a racist murderer. The sheriff department is racist and refuses to charge Zimmerman with murder or even manslaughter. A bunch of racist cowards.
