There have been players including NY giants DE Mathius K(Way to hard to spell). They have said they will not play for a Limbaugh owned team.
Answer: On one hand, I would LOVE to see what happens if he owned the team when the Rams and the best players available in the draft were Terrelle Pryor or Robert Griffin (two black QBs... which would be the irony of ironies considering Limbaugh's comments about Donovan McNabb). Also, let's say he passes up Pryor and Griffin for Ryan Mallet or Blaine Gabbert some people would say it's racist and ESPN would call out the big guns like they do whenever Brett Favre takes a piss or when they find out a baseball player did steroids and you wouldn't hear about anything else for a week and a half. I mean, I don't think the league has any right to prevent somebody for their political views (if by political you mean overtly racist), but I don't think that the current Rams owner is desperate enough or dumb enough to do something that would obviously cause so much controversy. Whether or not you agree with what Limbaugh says, it's a fact that a huge percentage of African-Americans hate Rush Limbaugh, and it's a fact that a huge percentage of the NFL is black, which would obviously not only jeopardize their chances of getting some big time free agents, as well as potentially creating situations where a drafted player disapproves of Limbaugh, starts Twittering about it, and from there it's a wrap. And I'm sure some players would play for him if it was their only chance of playing in the NFL, but if there's a big time free agent that doesn't like Limbaugh, you'd have to give him like 30 mill a year for him to even consider it, and that's not realistic. From what I hear the Rams owner isn't exactly rushing to sell, and it's probably not going to happen, at least anytime soon and with Limbaugh. And even though Marge Schott makes Rush Limbaugh look like Bill Clinton, she wasn't famous when she bought the team and look how her tenure ended up, I think Barry Larkin made it known that he didn't want to play for her.
