First let me say this question is NOT ABOUT THE FACTS of whether or not Obamas birth certificate is legitimate or not. Just for the sake of argument though, lets say you could prove that he wasnt a natural born citizen. Then what do you expect would happen? A. Wed do the election process all over again, possibly with different candidates. B. Joe Biden would become president (since he won the VP slot). C. John McCain would become president (since he finished second place for president)?
Answer: He should show it, what could he accomplish that's good by hiding it? Name an employer that would hire you if you wouldn't show yours?

I find it ridiculous that we even brought this up. I never thought politics were racist against Obama, but then I remember that Obamas mother was an American woman. Why are we asking for his birth certificate if his mother is an american? Also I dont remember anyone asking for the birth certificate of the other presidents.
Answer: In a way there was racism involved. When Obama first began to lead in the primaries, early in 2008, the Republicans tried as hard as they could to portray him as generally 'not like us'. He was a Muslim, he belonged to a radical anti-American black Christian sect. He went to a madrassa in Indonesia, he wore a turban, etc. etc. Not being born in the US was just a part of this larger attempt by the Republicans to make him look -foreign- and a little scary. Being black (or at least -dark-) was part of this. There IS racism still in the US. The Republican Party is not mainly racist, but they have always encouraged every kind of intolerance, hoping to unite the majority against minorities. They would have hated him just as much if he was white, they would have made up malicious lies about him and spread them in the media, just as they did with Clinton. But being black was like the first thing you noticed about Obama, so the Republicans saw this as an opportunity. Towards the end, the last few months, the birther movement was really hurting the Republicans. It was denounced by all Republican party leaders, and even by Fox News pundits. Obama releasing his long form just at this point helps the Republicans more than it helps him, because no sane, rational person still doubted he was born in Hawaii. It also gives Donald Trump reason to believe it was his own particular allegations that did it. (But we know he's not really a serious candidate and he'll be out of the running before the primaries even begin next year, and if not by then, certainly shortly threafter).

Why is the main media, including Yahoo not reporting the law suits concerning OBAMA BIRTH CERTIFICATE?

Before the presidential election a lawsuit was filed from a Democratic Pennsylvania judge requesting Obama and the Democratic National Convention bring forward the original birth certificate. Several other states have since filed similar requests. The Supreme Court has agreed to hear requests from several states concerning this issue. Why is the media ignoring this very important action?
Answer: The media do not want to focus on this because it will reveal their duplicity in foisting an impostor on the American public. Remember none of this is new news, and they soundly ignored it during the time before the election. My guess is that they hoped it would just go away. A little more background on the situation. The question of his citizenship has three hinges. First, it is clear that his father was not a US citizen and so therefore Obama has no claim from him. Second, his mother was 18 when he was born, and had not lived exclusively in the US for the 5 years after turning 16 proceeding his birth, so he has no claim from her. For those of you who do not understand this statement, as a minimum she would have had been 21 years old for her citizenship to have made him a citizen. Third, as to his birth certificate, Hawaii at the time he was born would issue a birth certificate to children not born on the island; this may well be what his certificate shows. There are witness statements saying that he was born in Kenya from both family and others. To my knowledge, there is no one claiming to have been present at his birth in Hawaii. There is no record that we have seen showing a hospital in Hawaii, but there are mentions of one in Kenya. No American medical professionals have come forward to say they were there when he was born. The family has not produced any medical bills to prove his American birth. Aside from the questions of his birth, there is yet another much more significant problem with his citizenship. When his mother remarried, she, her son and new husband moved to Indonesia. Obama was 8 at the time. Under Indonesia law, no child that is not a citizen may attend school. His mother became an Indonesian citizen by marriage. Barry was adopted by his stepfather in Indonesia. This makes him an Indonesian citizen. His school records show his citizenship to be Indonesian. I have no doubt that she made her son an Indonesian citizen; it would have been the simple, easy and for that matter practical thing to do. We must assume that she intended to spend the rest of her life with the stepfather. Remember, this would have been at a time in her life when she cared little for the US, and for that matter what her family though. I strongly doubt that they said to her, don't change your son's citizenship, he might want to be president some day. While he could regain his American citizenship, he would be a naturalized citizen and not eligible for the presidency. The court may well hear this case, and if they do the standard of proof will be the civil level as no criminal charge is filed. That standard for civil cases is the preponderance of evidence, the standard for criminal is beyond a reasonable doubt. To make that clear, in a civil matter such as this, if the evidence leans slightly to the side of him not being a citizen, then the result that the court must abide by is that he is not a citizen. The question arises, if Obama is disqualified from being president, what happens. The answer will depend on when the judgment is made. If he is disqualified prior to his becoming president elect at the meeting of the Electoral College, then that body will select someone else as president. If the judgment comes after that time, then most likely Biden will become president, but there some is debate on that issue.
