It seems like RCR has really got there program back together.. But look @ Harvicks stats all time @ California.. Its not pretty.. 0 wins, 0 top 5s, and an average finishing position of 21st... How do you think he will run this weekend?
Answer: Well, I am not a big RCR fan let alone a Harvick fan, but I have to admit he has really hit his stide and matured. I think him getting his own sponser and losing the traditional paint scheme give him a feel thats its his car finally. He has always been a great driver, just his temper and attitude get in the way and I think is comfortable and calmer and will threaten for the Cup and yes every race. Burton as well he is not looking bad himself, I have always liked him and wish he was with Rousch still, but I think he gets more help and not the last car on the team. Both should be in the hunt and wouldn't put it past them to have one of them come out on top.

Given that you dont have a Chase. I say increase the value of the marquis events in NASCAR rather than keep on going with a system that will continue to be panned in order to appease both the seasoned fans and new fans. If not 300, what value would you give the 500? Same as the other races? Would you elevate other races as well such as the 600 and the Brickyard race in terms of winners points?
Answer: Restrictor plate tracks and rain shortened races and fuel mileage races should have a lower to no value at all.

I want you to test my theory and pick a winner using this method. Ive noticed that at Daytona and Talladega, the winner usually comes out of nowhere, because they have to draft. So its usually the most unpredictable driver who wins at races like Daytona. This is a fun way of predicting a winner, because if you have a favorite driver, you shouldnt pick him but pick a driver who would be more random, other than your fave. If you dont have a favorite driver, you get to pick an even more obscure choice. You can use that in determining who you think may win, based upon who you predict will be leading the points by about the fourth race of the season.
